As a “registree” to the meeting on the 30th April we have just received the following message from CoRWM/DECC.
Please be informed that we have decided to move to a larger venue for the CoRWM public in Workington on 30th April 2014 due to unprecedented demand to attend the meeting. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this change and we hope very much that you will still be able to attend. The timing will be from 18:30 to 20:00.
The Committee are very pleased that so many people are interested to speak to them and they look forward to having the opportunity to meeting you and answering your questions. We still intend that the meeting will provide an informal opportunity for members of the public to talk to committee members, find out about their work and ask them any questions relating to the management of radioactive waste including the siting process for geological disposal. In advance of the meeting, you may wish to look at CoRWM’s response to the Government’s Consultation on the GDF Siting Process.
The venue will now be at:
Hunday Manor Country House Hotel”
So you can still register but do it soon!
